Take visual notes whilst exploring various destinations, including the lower north shore, northern beaches, and the city, making sketches of the forms and shapes of buildings, people, landscape and anything that piques your interest.

Description
Using easy to carry art equipment, charcoal, pencils, soft pastels and watercolour drawn on an A4 sketchpad. All locations will be determined by the class and teacher each week. Home base will be the School of Fine Art and alternative arrangements will be made as needed for wet weather.
Most artists carried a sketchbook with them on their travels to jot down on paper things that took their fancy and revisited these sketches at a later date for developing ideas.
There will be lessons given en route and at destinations on composition, shading, colour techniques and more this is a drawing class suitable for a beginner as well as an experienced student as each person will be taught individually and as a group.
