You will learn how to create the movement, atmosphere, depth and mood that the sea evokes. Whether you choose abstract, realism or somewhere in between, we will be looking at different artists styles and applications.
JWTurner, Claude Monet, Winslow Homer, David Hockney, Theodore Gericault, Neil Taylor. We will study these artists and investigate how they represent the sea. Discover the elements in their
brush strokes that contribute to making their painting style such a success. You will select an artist of your choice and learn how to reinterpret their style.
