Join Kristin for an indepth look at how colour works. You will gain understanding of how to use colour more confidently, and how to achieve beautiful, glowing and resonant palettes. Glazing is a powerful technique on it’s own or as part of a painting practice in either acrylics or oil paints. No matter if you paint either abstract or representational styles, glazing can open a new range of possibilities.
Techniques you will learn: Glazing for colour and Glazing for shadow.
Work with the paints you currently use, either acrylic or oil, with a few additional colours. if you want to experiment with drawing and glazing, you would use watercolour. Bring old paintings or drawings you would like to transform with glazing.
