Description
Starting with foundational drawing skills at the core, we will consider in practical ways, how different artists through history have approached what a drawing can be and do, and how this can offer alternative, expansive and exciting ways to approach our own drawing materials and practices.
As each week progresses you will be offered structured activities that invite you to play with a different drawing material, eg. charcoal, oil pastel, ink, and watercolour. The focus will be on building a relationship with the materials we use, through understanding its qualities and potential for creative expression.
